Scott Productions

Here I am sitting in my Stellar Astronomy class, not paying attention once again. I am taking a grand total of 5 classes this semester and this is the only lower level. Needless to say I feel like all the freshmen here are sucking out some of my intelligence. On the plus side, my professor is a fan of Douglas Adams. As the semester moves on it seems that I have more and more to do. cbd products It’s only Tuesday and it’s turned into a long ass week. I just keep going because I really want to graduate in May. Normally I hope to add something cool or funny in a post, but right now I’m fresh out.

Well, due to my weird schedule and those crazy holidays today was my second day of classes. So even though I started last Thursday and it is now late Tuesday, I haven’t been to two of my classes yet. Tomorrow I get to attend my Live Studio Production class, not really sure what to expect but it should be fun. So far nothing exciting has happened.

Tonight we are headed to some trivia at a Mexican restaurant, I always enjoy trying to answer the stupid questions they come up with. I don’t normally get them right, but I try.

I haven’t made too many updates to the website in the past few days. Part of this comes from the fact that I don’t have a whole bunch of time and the other reason is because I haven’t had anything new to say. This doesn’t mean I’m done with the site, just having to let my brain rest. You know how that is, if you let your brain not think about something for a while you’ll come up with a pretty good idea.

Pretty soon I’ll be working on some videos for my Video Production II class, this means I’ll be using a Canon XH-A1. I haven’t used one before, but I’ve heard many good things about it so I’m excited. Well, that’s about all I have.

So a lot of you have been asking me what I do here at Scott Productions, what is my goal, how do I make stuff, what is the meaning of life? Ok, actually I haven’t been fielding any questions at all, but I am making progress.

Over the past couple of days I’ve made a few  additions to the site. First off let me direct you to my Web Design page where you can see a service I am now currently offering. Like many other things, there is still a lot of work to be done but I’m glad to have this page up with some descriptions. I will hopefully have a pricing page up sometime tomorrow.

Secondly, I have added a Photography page with a photo album of pictures I’ve taken. This page tends to fall into a category all its own. I found a plugin that displays a decent looking album, though I feel that there must be something better out there. Of course I had no idea what it looked like until I uploaded photos for the album. It is interesting going through the thousands of pictures I’ve taken and picking out just a few, but it was done.

Then I added a Contact page with a nice simple little form that people can fill out to send me messages. I figure the easier it is for a visitor to contact me, the better.

Those are the three biggest changes. There has been few things behind the scenes that I’ve been messing with and of course you should always check back for updates. I’m trying to keep my site from being too static. It shall be fun.

Well, in the past week I’ve had more than one job ideas pass in front of me. Unfortunately ideas don’t pay as well as offers do up front. In fact one of them involved a fairly large investment on my part (though it would be a fun adventure) and the other doesn’t involve so much of a financial investment but definitely a time investment. In the end you can’t complain too much about making a little extra money on the side.
